Ruthven Community Care Center is a continuum of care consisting of 18 apartments and a 48 bed Skilled Licensed Care Facility located on 5.6 acres of land on the east edge of Ruthven. We are a community owned non-profit center serving a significant elderly population in Northwest Iowa. The need for the Ruthven Care Center came about over the concerns of aged family and friends who required or would soon require nursing care of a formal facility; and the concern for growing number of elderly residents residing in care centers in other locations imposing geographic restraints for family and friends.

All services listed above are an integral part of our facility but a family atmosphere is the most important part of the Ruthven Community Care Center. We encourage family members as well as the residents to participate in their overall care.
